Hi, everyone, thanks for checking out my blog! My goal is to encourage other women to draw closer to the Lord and to share His love with others. I am the youngest of six, and I absolutely LOVE being an aunt! I enjoy music and especially singing. I also enjoy acting. God has given me a love for many of the arts, but He has also given me a desire to use my talents for His glory alone. If you are a woman, of any age, who is seeking to grow closer to the Lord, I would love to have you join me as I continue on my journey. For His glory, ~ Rachael

Whatever makes you happy, right? Think about what that statement is really saying. Should happiness be our priority in life? What if my happiness infringes upon someone else's rights? Or, what if the thing that makes me happy is contrary to God's Word? . . . What then? Photo by Peter Agripo on Pexels.com Christianity …

Many of us have heard it. Somebody is be going through a really difficult situation and a well-intentioned friend may say something like, "I'm really sorry, but, you know, God will never give you more than you can handle". Is that really true? Will God actually never give us more than we can handle? Some …

A Virtuous Woman

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies" (Prov. 31:10, KJV). God desires for all of His daughters to be virtuous women, as they grow both in Him and on the earth. The status of this kind of woman is not set aside for only a select few. It is …

He is Worthy

Have you ever been so consumed, in the things you are asking God for, that you forget to praise Him? They may even be good things that you're asking, but has worship become something that you do only on a Sunday morning? For me, this is an area that I want God to develop more …

A Blessing Not a Curse

I love to see the wonder and simplicity that is often associated with a child's world, even some of the simplest things can be transformed into an exciting adventure. There is much that can be learned from a child. For instance, read the words of Mark, concerning Jesus, "And they brought young children to him, …

With All My Heart

"Trust Me". The words come so softly and yet so often. They are only two words, but when spoken from the One who knows, who sees and understands, when spoken from the One who is trustworthy, those two words have so much depth. Trusting God is not an option for the believer, it is required. …

The Fig Tree

On April 28, 2019June 3, 2019 By Rachael LeVeilleIn God's Love, God's Will, Grief and Loss, JesusLeave a comment

We loved our fig tree . . . that's why we were so upset when we saw it. The tree had been pruned so exceptionally that it seemed it would never be the same again. Someone had been doing some yard work, at our house, and had gone a little gung-ho with the pruning of …

He is Risen!!

"And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; …

It's that time of year . . . Flowers blooming, trees budding, birds singing! I can't decide which I like better, spring or fall. They're both so amazing! But I guess I don't have to choose, I can enjoy them both and appreciate the unique beauties of each season. God is so good to have …
