In Christ

It was a cold, snowy evening when I arrived in Colorado. Our plane had been delayed almost three hours, and now here we were, waiting in the icy air, for my shuttle.

God had worked out the details for me to be part of Ellerslie’s discipleship training, in Windsor Colorado, and I was full of anticipation! The week went fast. I made new friends, and I was given SO much truth! If I were to encapsulate the entire week, I suppose I would say that we were given the Gospel. We were. The Gospel is not only for those who have not yet accepted Christ as their Savior. It is for each and every believer, because we need to be saved from ourselves and our flesh every single day!

One thing that amazed me was what it truly means to be “in Christ”! Do you know? The Bible is full of verses that talk about being “in Christ”. Romans 8:1, for instance, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (KJV). Being in Christ is a key to Christianity! What does it mean to be “in Christ”, and how does a believer abide in Him? https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUDMFfXmx0d1Ff7DHsOkdymdhP2J6eT5S I highly recommend you watch these two short clips! In the “Reckoning the Truth” series, Eric Ludy sums up what it means to be “in Christ” and what that indicates for the believer.
