“Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews. For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:13-14, KJV). These were Mordecai’s words to Esther, his niece, when the Jewish people were in danger of death. Esther chose to heed her her uncle’s counsel and, very courageously, went before the king. Ultimately, the Jews were saved because of her choice to speak out. God used Esther.
Could it be that there is a group of people, in America, who are in danger of death?

Just look at this statistic, “Abortions per day: 2,899” (American Life League). And that’s in America alone. American Life League also states that “These statistics include only surgical and medical abortions. Because many contraceptive measures are abortifacients (drugs that induce or cause abortions), it is important not to overlook the number of children killed by chemical abortions”. That means there are even more abortions taking place than the previous statistic!

Precious lives are silenced before they even have the chance to cry out! Many mothers, who think that they are getting rid of a problem, are only left with heartache and grief because of abortion. We should love these mothers, not condemn them, because God loves them. He offers hope and forgiveness to them. We need to be reaching out and helping mothers choose life. We need to be a voice for those who have none. My sister and brother-in-law chose to stand for the unborn by making a post on Facebook. They offered to adopt a baby!

Is adoption something God may be asking you to be a part of? If you are too young/unmarried or not set up to adopt at the moment, there are other ways you can take a stand. Prayer is #1! But there are also opportunities to volunteer at crisis pregnancy centers, or even to pray outside of an abortion clinic and counsel women who may be considering an abortion. Look into 40 Days for Life, if you haven’t already (https://40daysforlife.com/). Posting and sharing posts, on Facebook, is another great way to speak for the unborn!

What will you do about the babies who are in danger of death? It’s time to take a stand.
